Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently looking for a Client Service Officer to commence in a role at the Townsville Sports Precinct, a large sports and recreational precinct. The venue hosts a range of sport, recreation and fitness events and activities for a wide range of users.

The role forms part of a well-established Venue Services team, working together to provide a high quality experience for sports clubs and teams , community organisations, school groups, and individuals. The role contributes largely to the overall customer experience for visitors and requires a friendly and organised individual.



In this role you will:

- Deliver exceptional customer service to a wide variety of clients.


- Greet and induct all hirers on arrival to the venue.


- Ensure all visitors experience a high level of service by contributing towards maintaining spaces to a high standard and are safe for use.


- Assist with general operational duties and emergent cleaning where required.


- Manage facility and sports equipment set up and pack down tasks, often meeting tight deadlines.


- Confidently utilise software associated with venue bookings, member management, and Microsoft products.


- Confidently manage sales and purchases, whilst tracking and reporting accurately on financial information.


- Provide suitable emergency management response (if required) in accordance with the Venue’s policies and procedures.



What we are looking for:


- Previous experience in a similar role (customer service, sport, recreation, tourism, or hospitality industries)


- Flexibility to carry out shifts varying from Day, Afternoon and Night Shifts (including weekend work).


- Positive Blue card – mandatory


- Current first aid and CPR certificate – mandatory
